All kayaks and canoes are shipped direct from the manufacturers via standard freight shipping to the nearest shipping terminal. You will be given information regarding this terminal and are responsible for picking up your canoe or kayak once it arrives. Check the overall condition of the boat prior to leaving the terminal to make sure that no damage occurred during shipping. This is rare, but it does sometimes happen. If any damage as a result of shipping has occurred to your boat, you will want to make a claim against the shipping carrier.
Boats may be returned to the manufacturer at the discretion of the manufacturer. Most manufacturers will be more than happy to offer a replacement product if any defects were found in a canoe or kayak. Issues related to not being satisfied with the overall performance of a boat are dealt with on a per-case basis at the discretion of the manufacturer.
